Welcome to my website! I'm David Cronkite, and I'm thrilled to share that I've been passionately teaching and playing drum set, percussion, and piano for over 45 years. Hailing from beautiful Truro, Nova Scotia, I can't wait to pass on my knowledge and experience to my students. Fun fact: both of my kids are also deeply involved in the arts—Ana is an operations manager at Sandbox film company, and Max holds a Master's in ancient and medieval history while rocking the bass. • Performed on CBC radio, CBC TV, and ITV in England • Collaborated with Scott Bishop from the Blue Man Group in a percussion ensemble

• Rocked the drums for Nova Scotia’s touring band during the 1984 Summer Games

• Proud Dean’s list honouree for four years straight

• Composed for pop bands, percussion ensembles, and jazz groups

• Contributed to DRUMS Etc. magazine for two years

• Sang and drummed with three professional Beatles bands

• Played in Sway, Ottawa’s top dance band, for four fantastic years

• Directed and composed for a local grade eight percussion ensemble for eight years

• Taught percussion and piano at the Rebecca Cohen Auditorium in Halifax

• Sole percussion/drum set instructor at Hebbville Academy, Nova Scotia

• Drummer and pianist for the St. Lawrence Stage Company Drummed for my high school band when we clinched the Canadian National Stage Band competition in 1980

• Created thousands of drummers who share a love for making music!
